

Loren "Bo" Sudduth Bell is the new development officer for the College of Education at Mississippi State.
The Starkville native received his bachelor's degree in physical education from Mississippi State in 1991 and his master's in physical education in 1993.
Bell formerly was a physical education teacher with the Starkville Separate School District. In his new duties with Mississippi State's Office of Development, he will coordinate fund-raising efforts for the College of Education.
He was the 1995 non-classroom teacher of the year at Emerson Elementary School, and serves as a football official for the Mississippi High School Activities Association and the Mississippi Junior College Football Association.
Last summer, Bell coached the Starkville American Legion baseball team to a state championship, a regional title in Louisiana, and to the American Legion World Series in Fargo, N.D.
