The 10th annual MSU Insurance Day will be held April 24, but participants are invited to come a day early for fun and relaxation.
The recreational part of the program begins April 23 with a golf tournament, followed by a barbecue and the Mississippi State-Southern Mississippi baseball game.
The educational phase of MSU Insurance Day begins with registration at 8 a.m. April 24, followed by a full slate of speakers including state Insurance Commissioner George Dale, Alabama Commissioner Michael DeBellis, and Kentucky Commissioner George Nichols. Keynote speaker will be Robert L. Bailey, chairman and CEO of the State Auto Insurance Companies.
The program covers a broad range of topics of special interest to property/casualty agents, life/health agents, claims adjusters, and attorneys.
Six hours of continuing education credit for participants has been approved by the Commissioner of Insurance and the Committee for Legal Continuing Education.
