Faculty member receives national advising award

For the fourth time in as many years, a Mississippi State faculty member is included among the nation's best academic advisors.

Kirk P. Arnett, a professor of management and information systems in the College of Business and Industry, is one of 10 who received a 1997 Outstanding Advisor Award from the National Academic Advising Association.

Arnett, who holds bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from Mississippi State, joins three others at the university honored for advising since 1994.
