Construction is progressing steadily on the Dave C. Swalm Chemical Engineering Building. More than 20 percent complete, the $18.6 million structure will be an exact exterior replica of Lee Hall, which it mirrors at the south end of the Drill Field. Scheduled to open in early- or mid-1999, the building will house the Department of Chemical Engineering.
