Alumni Association names 1997 Honor Chapters

Congratulations!
Eight alumni chapters were named honor chapters for 1997 at the annual Alumni Awards Banquet in January.

The chapters were selected based on the achievement of membership quotas and the accumulation of at least 400 points according to the Chapter Recognition Point System. In addition, all the officers of each chapter are active members of the Alumni Association.

The 1997 honor chapters are Attala-Choctaw County, Datwin Dabbs, president; Forrest-Lamar-Perry County, Jim Koerber, president; Harrison County, Cecilia Schmidt, president; Jackson County, Jay Halford, president; Lee County, Robert McNeil, president; Lincoln County, Dustin Walker, president; Lowndes County, Dr. Norman Ford, president; and Warren County, Henry Delaney, president.
