The newly organized Young Alumni Advisory Board of the College of Business and Industry is seeking interested young alumni to serve as advisers and mentors to currently enrolled COBI students.

The board has initiated two programs to assist students in learning to compete in today's marketplace.

Two panel discussions will be held in various classes within the college each semester, in which young alumni from different fields will address students about job searching, interviewing, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent topics.

YAAB also is implementing a "shadow program," in which graduating students will have the opportunity to shadow a young alumnus for a day to gain a better understanding of the real-world work environment.
