Historians seek recollections for Old Main book

The Alumni Association is sponsoring a project to produce a pictorial history of Old Main dormitory. History professors Roy Scott and Charles Lowery will compile and edit the volume, expected to include about 100 pages of text and numerous photographs.

The massive building—believed to have been the largest college dormitory under one roof—burned in January 1959.

The editors want to hear from anyone who has stories or photographs of the building or pictures that depict student life in the building.
