The Alumni Association is soliciting nominations for the first Prestigious Young Alumnus Award to be presented at the 1997 Alumni Awards Banquet on campus next year.
The award will recognize a young alumnus who has committed time and energy in service to the university and local community and who has demonstrated an ability to excel both personally and professionally. The Alumni Association classifies young alumni as those who are 32 years of age or younger and who attended Mississippi State for at least one semester of undergraduate or graduate study.
Nominations for the award from Mississippi State alumni, faculty, staff, or students must include one letter of nomination and a completed nomination form, which can be obtained by writing or calling the Alumni Association at P.O. Box AA, Mississippi State, MS 39762-5526 (Attn: Prestigious Young Alumnus Award), 662-325-2434. Nominations must be received by October 1.
