After many years' absence, the traditional official class ring of Mississippi State University is once again available, thanks to the support of the Alumni Association.
L.G. Balfour Company is the exclusive supplier of the official university class ring and offers it for sale to alumni and students. Balfour was the supplier of Mississippi State's official class ring in 1935 when it was first developed.
The official class ring displays a deep-molded bust of the university's first president, Stephen D. Lee, on one side, and the original Bulldog mascot on the other side. The year of graduation appears above the Lee bust and the degree letters above the Bulldog.
Each ring contains the original January garnet (maroon) stone. The ring may be ordered in 10K yellow or white gold, 14K yellow or white gold, 18K yellow gold, or silvertone celestrium.
Only juniors, seniors, and alumni are eligible to purchase the rings.
