Martin Center dedicated

Lorene G. Martin of Starkville joined President Donald Zacharias, center, in April to dedicate the T.K. Martin Center for Technology and Disability at Mississippi State. Named for her late husband and longtime university vice president, the center provides rehabilitative engineering and rehabilitative technology for all disabled Mississippians. With them is center director Harry F. Rizer. Martin, whose Mississippi State career spanned 35 years, died in 1994. Jointly funded by the university and the state Department of Rehabilitative Services, the center is the only one of its kind on an American college campus.
