Longtime SID remembered with marker

The late Bob Hartley, Mississippi State's long-time sports information director and consultant, was memorialized during Super Bulldog Weekend in April with the official dedication of a granite marker bearing his name.

Located in a landscaped planting area just south of the John H. Bryan Sr. Athletic Administration Building, the marker was made possible by donations from the Starkville Quarterback Club, the Starkville Kiwanis Club, and Bulldog Club gifts.

Hartley was a past president of the Starkville Kiwanis Club and served as the only program chairman the Starkville Quarterback Club ever had.
