Effective spring 1999, the Career Center at Mississippi State discontinued the service of establishing and maintaining recommendation files (formerly credential files) for currently enrolled students and alumni. The center plans to destroy unused and outdated files.

The files of alumni who take no action on their files during the current calendar year will be destroyed after Dec. 31, 1999. If action is taken on the file during 1999, it will be maintained by the Career Center through June 30, 2000, after which the file will be destroyed.
