The 9 1/2-inch by 11-inch limited-edition, hard-bound book retails for $34.95 and can be purchased through the Mann/Allen Marketing Company in Jackson, publishers of the survey.
The book, endorsed by the Mississippi State Alumni Association and containing photographs by longtime university photographer Fred Y. Faulk, "blends the traditions of yesterday with the essence of today and the spirit of tomorrow," said Libba Andrews, Alumni Association business administrator.
The introduction of the book features stories about Mississippi State told over the years by alumnus and former U.S. Senator John C. Stennis, as remembered and written by Rex Buffington, executive director of the Stennis Center for Public Service. Several alumni and former university presidents are quoted throughout the book.
