Mississippi State also enrolled the state's largest freshman class, with 1,608 students. Forty-four percent of the university freshmen statewide who scored 28 or above on the ACT are enrolled at Mississippi State.
Total fall enrollment on the main campus was 13,651. Undergraduates made up 82.5 percent of the total enrollment this fall. About three-fourths of the students are from Mississippi.
