PSSAC hosting first Homecoming Tailgating Contest

This year, the Professional and Support Advisory Council is sponsoring a Tailgating Contest to support Homecoming.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Each tailgating party will be judged for adherence to this year's theme of "A Bulldog State of Mind," along with creativity, originality and school spirit.

The contest is open to all departments and awards will be presented to the top three tailgates. The first-place winner will receive 20 tickets to the Homecoming game, donated by the Bulldog Club.

The tailgating party may be held inside or outside. If multiple departments wish to tailgate together, they must note it on the registration form. If a department wishes to enter the contest, the registration form must be completed and returned by Wednesday, Oct. 7.

The decorations, food and costumes are at the discretion of the departments--it's all up to the imagination and anything goes as long as it relates to the theme.

While decorating please keep in mind, entrances and exits to buildings should remain clear and not blocked.
