New efficiency, innovation committee formed

The Select Committee on Efficiencies and Innovations has been formed to help the university identify and prioritize opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

The group of faculty, staff and students will aid the university in working through financial challenges facing the institution during the next two fiscal years and beyond. Committee members also will work to help maintain extensive and open communication with the entire MSU family.

The 28 voting members of the committee include elected representatives of each academic college, the library and the Meridian Campus, along with members of the Executive Council and other representatives of the faculty, staff and students.

Holland Faculty Senate president Hart Bailey is committee coordinator. Working with him in committee leadership roles will be Dr. Peter Rabideau as co-chair for academic affairs and Mike McGrevey as co-chair for administration and support.
