Appendix B -Implementation, Review, and Assessment

Executing the plan outlined in broad terms in FutureSTATE 2015 will require the concerted efforts of many individuals and university units over an extended period of time.  First steps toward implementation will include assigning coordinating responsibility for the several priority initiatives, along with development as appropriate of timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.  We will report annually on our progress toward these long-term goals.

FutureSTATE 2015 also will be reviewed at least annually and modified as necessary to ensure that we are responding to emerging opportunities and adapting to changes in the external environment.  Reviews will be completed prior to the end of each spring semester with leadership provided by the State of the Future Committee, which will elicit as appropriate the participation of faculty, staff, students, administrators, and alumni and friends and make recommendations to the president.
