Register early for Emergency Preparedness Week

The MSU Campus-Community Emergency Response Team (C-CERT) and the Maroon Volunteer Center are hosting a number of free training opportunities during Emergency Preparedness Week, Sept. 16-21.

Emergency Preparedness Week offers free disaster preparedness training sessions that are open to all students, faculty, staff and community members. Topics include disaster preparedness kits, extreme weather, fire extinguisher training, a disaster preparedness panel of experts, CPR and First Aid refresher courses and more. Some sessions are offered twice a day, with the 2nd Annual P.R.E.P. Day taking place on Sept. 19. A full listing of training opportunities is available on the C-CERT website at
