Maroon Edition author visits campus today

Richard Muller, author of this year's Maroon Edition selection at Mississippi State University, "Physics for Future Presidents," will be on campus Nov. 14, and will be making two presentations that are open to all students, faculty, staff and the general public.

First published in 2008 by W.W. Norton & Co., the 384-page book is the work of the physics professor and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory senior scientist honored in 1982 with a prestigious MacArthur Foundation Fellowship, popularly known as the "genius grant."

For faculty who would like to monitor class attendance at the 6:30 general presentation, arrangements have been made for scanners, which will provide instructors with attendance rosters.
