Foglesong: Independence Day message

June 26, 2007

Dear Bulldog Family,

We have had a busy and productive summer thus far, with a successful first-ever Maymester, high-attendance Orientation sessions, and hundreds of visiting summer camp participants. With the first five-week session winding down, we'll enjoy a brief break in the action as we observe Independence Day.

I hope you have an opportunity for rest and recreation, and also a bit of reflection on the significance of the Fourth of July, our national heritage of freedom, and the continuing demands of that legacy. And whether you're on the highways, the waterways, or in the back yard, remember to think safety first.

Happy Fourth of July!

Doc Foglesong, President
