THOMPSON HONORED — Joe Thompson (l), an MSU Giles Distinguished Professor of Aerospace Engineering, was honored Thursday by colleagues at the Differential Equations and Computation Simulations Conference on campus. The university alumnus was cited for leadership in helping create the international gathering of scientists jointly sponsored by Mississippi State and the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
