'PAINTED' WINNERS — The first semester-long Maroon Edition reading project has concluded and winners of the essay contest are (l-r) Catherine Waddell and Lindsay Linhares, honorable mention; Ann Elizabeth Allison, third; Charles Dagino, second; and Sarah Morse, first. A voluntary initiative, the project is designed to engage freshmen in reading, discussing and, if interested, writing about the book all read, John Grisham's "A Painted House."
