Pre-Medical Concentration
The curriculum for admission to medical school includes 8 hours of inorganic chemistry, 8 hours of organic chemistry, 8 hours of biology, 8 hours of physics, 6 hours of English, and 6 hours of mathematics.
Most pre-med students at MSU major in one of the follow degree programs: Biochemistry, Biological Science, Biological Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or some other degree. Courses taken in any of these degree programs will prepare you for medical school and all have advisors that are knowledgeable about what it takes to get into medical school and will be happy to help guide you.
