National Engineers Week

Over a 16-day period in February, Bagley College of Engineering faculty and students joined their academic and professional peers across the nation in observance of National Engineers Week. Activities ranged from competitions in Ultimate Frisbee, Lego bridge design, E-lympics, Web site design, and capture-the-flag to a cookout sponsored by Southern Company and a canned food drive sponsored by Theta Tau professional engineering fraternity. The purpose of E-Week is to call attention to the contributions to society that engineers make. It's also a time for engineers to emphasize the importance of learning math, science and technical skills. Learn more about E-Week.
