Sidelines: Through University Photographers' Eyes

Over a year ago, University Relations photographers Kristen Hines Baker, Megan Bean, and Russ Houston gave themselves a creative challenge: to photograph Mississippi State sports and feature the best images in an exhibition. The end result was "Sidelines: Through University Photographers' Eyes." Highlighting the fruits of their year-long endeavor with shots captured from Aug. 2008 to Aug. 2009, the images run the gamut from coach hirings to cheerleaders to the student-athletes themselves. MSU's Colvard Student Union art gallery featured the full exhibition this past fall, and a selection of 16 poster-sized photos are now on display at the Golden Triangle Regional Airport through March.
