Residency Appeals Committee

Committee reports to: Provost and Executive Vice President

Reviews appeals from students denied in-state residency. Applies provisions of Mississippi state law, Institutions of Higher Learning, and Mississippi State University when acting on residency appeals and determinations. Positions on the committee are determined by academic or staff position and as approved by the Provost. The chair of the committee will rotate annually among the four departmental offices involved in determining student residency issues.
