Mission: To provide leadership using creative communications that highlight the accomplishments, contributions, and significance of Mississippi State University to a global audience.

University Relations helps communicate Mississippi State University's message of service to the state and beyond. Our award winning staff is responsible for news and media relations; publications, including Mississippi State Alumnus magazine; marketing communication; and electronic communications, including the university's homepage. Our photography group supports these areas and provides service to the campus community. We also implement and oversee the university's communications plan.

Keenum speaks with Mayor and city officials
PLANNING SESSIONS BEGIN - Starkville Mayor Parker Wiseman (l) and Mississippi State President Mark Keenum were among municipal, university and Oktibbeha County officials gathering Monday at the Starkville Sportsplex to discuss cooperative short-term priorities and long-term visions. The participants will meet again in several weeks to continue work on the short-range agendas. A planning session on long-term issues will take place within the next 60 days.
