The mission of University Relations is to improve and maintain attitudes and perceptions about Mississippi State University.

University Relations helps communicate Mississippi State University's message of service to the state and beyond. Our award winning staff is responsible for news and media relations; publications, including Mississippi State Alumnus magazine; marketing communication; and electronic communications, including the university's homepage. Our photography group supports these areas and provides service to the campus community. We also implement and oversee the university's communications plan.

SPRINGING UP - As Maymester begins today, campus activity returns after the week between the fall semster and summer courses. During few quiet moments, it's a great time to notice subtleties on campus, such as a blooming mushroom mound in the foreground of the Colvard Student Union.
