Russ Houston joined University Relations in 1988 and has served as Photography Coordinator since 2004. In his role as photographer, Russ provides images for news, publications, and the web in the University Relations office. He also fills photography requests for the many departments on campus.
Previously he worked at the Commercial Dispatch newspaper in Columbus as staff photographer. He graduated in 1985 with a broadcasting degree from Mississippi State University.
Russ and his wife Suzy, are the parents of two children and two grandchildren. They are members of First Baptist Church in Starkville.
