@msu_libraries Workshop: Tools and Strategies for Critically Evaluating Fake News

June 7, 2017
11:00 am to 12:00 pm

About this event

This workshop aims to teach participants how to recognize, avoid and combat misinformation, including fake news, false news, media bias and confirmation bias. It is important that students and scholars learn to differentiate between real news and fake news in both their day-to-day and academic lives. With various resources and fact-checkers available online, it is easy to be overwhelmed or unsure about what information is true. Participants will learn strategies that will help them better distinguish fake from fact! Click the 'Link" below to register for this free workshop.
