George Bey, professor of sociology and anthropology and Chisholm Foundation Chair of Arts and Sciences at Millsaps College, is presenting a public lecture at Mississippi State University. Titled "2000 Years of Maya Civilization: Recent Research in Northern Yucatan," Bey's talk is part of MSU's celebration of Mississippi Archaeology Month.
