Created by USA WEEKEND Magazine, Make A Difference Day traditionally takes place on the fourth Saturday of October. This year, Volunteer Starkville and the Maroon Volunteer Center are celebrating Make a Difference Day through service at J.L. King, McKee and Moncrief parks in Starkville. Twenty volunteers are needed to help with beautification efforts at each site. Those interested in volunteering should contact Daphne A.
