The President's Commission on the Status of Women at Mississippi State University is hosting a panel discussion featuring distinguished women leaders in academia, religion, government and public affairs. Sharing their stories, successes and challenges as female leaders in the rural South, panelists include Judy Bonner, MSU provost and executive vice president; Rev. Allison Stacey Parvin, ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and pastor of BethEden Lutheran Church in Louisville; Starkville Mayor Lynn Spruill; and MSU alumna Camille Scales Young, principal and director at Cornerstone Government Affairs in Jackson.
