College Year in Athens Overview with Angelos Papadopoulos

About this event

During this lecture sponsored by Mississippi State University's Cobb Institute of Archaeology, Angelos Papadopoulos will discuss and answer questions about the College Year in Athens study abroad experience in Athens, Greece. Students of all classifications and majors, as well as faculty in all academic disciplines, are welcome to attend. Papadopoulos holds a bachelor's in archaeology from the University of Bournemouth and a master's in archaeology from the Institute of Archaeology at University College London. After receiving his doctorate from the University of Liverpool, he was employed by the Department of Antiquities in Cyprus. Papadopoulos has contributed to a number of research projects in Greece, Cyprus and the United Kingdom and has worked on museum exhibitions, excavations and various publications. Currently, he is teaching at the Open University of Cyprus and the Hellenic Open University.
