Fall Commencement Ceremony #1 (Starkville Campus)

Mississippi State University is expanding to two fall commencement ceremonies. Taking place 9:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8 at Humphrey Coliseum, the first ceremony will feature graduates of the College of Architecture, Art and Design; College of Arts and Sciences; College of Education, and General Studies. Processional starts at 9 a.m. Dr. Allen K. Sills Jr. of Franklin, Tennessee, will deliver the commencement address. Born in Kosciusko and reared in Starkville, Sills is an MSU summa cum laude biological engineering graduate who went on to earn a professional degree at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. In March, Sills was named the National Football League’s first chief medical officer, a full-time position based in New York City. Click the "Link" below for a livestream of the Friday ceremony.
