Today [Feb. 28] by 11:59 p.m. is the application deadline for Mississippi State University Extension's eight summer 2018 apprenticeship opportunities. Each paid apprenticeship offers an integrated research and Extension experience, in which the student works directly with a faculty specialist to assist with ongoing research and help develop a related educational product or process that successfully translates into relevant outreach to key stakeholders. Each apprentice will receive a $500/week stipend for 12 weeks plus benefits and job-related travel expenses. College credit for the summer semester is subject to approval by the student's school/department. Applications from juniors and seniors in all academic disciplines are welcome.
