'The Brits Are Coming!'

The Mississippi State University Department of Music's 2018 Poetry and Music Program is a song collection set to the works of major British poets A.E. Housman, Edith Sitwell and William Butler Yeats. The event's grand finale will include selections from popular comic operas by the beloved British partnership of librettist W. S. Gilbert and composer Arthur Sullivan. Following the concert, a reception hosted by the campus chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota international music fraternity takes place in the Giles lobby. Click the "Link" below for more information.
