As part of Mississippi Spring Severe Weather Preparedness Week [Feb. 19-23], Mississippi State University Emergency Management, MSU Extension, the MSU meteorology program and Oktibbeha County Emergency Management are sponsoring a severe weather preparedness and response presentation that is free and open to the public. Topics will include building a preparedness kit and actions to take before, during and after a storm. A panel of experts will be available to answer questions about weather warnings, preparedness tips and emergency response.
