Douglas Tallamy, professor in the Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware, is presenting a lecture titled "Restoring Nature's Relationships" at Mississippi State University. Tallamy has authored 89 research publications and has taught insect taxonomy, behavioral ecology, humans and nature, insect ecology and other courses for 36 years at the University of Delaware. Tallamy is a Lifetime Honorary Director of Wild Ones and has won the Garden Club of America Margaret Douglas Medal for Conservation, the Tom Dodd Jr. Award of Excellence, and the AHS 2018 B.Y. Morrison Communication Award, among other honors. Part of the Waldorf Endowment, his lecture is made possible with the support of private donors David and Elizabeth Waldorf.
