About this event

Today is the deadline to submit applications for Mississippi State University's Linking International Students in the Community program. The program helps connect international students to individuals and families within the community through monthly communication and engagement activities. Host individuals and families are not expected to provide living arrangements for the international students in this program. MSU's Holmes Cultural Diversity Center is sponsoring several optional events where participants can engage in cultural activities and build friendships. Events include the LINC Kick-Off Dinner where international student(s), U.S. student mentors and host families/individuals can interact for the first time. Those interested in being a part of the program are encouraged to visit www.linc.msstate.edu for more information and/or to submit an application. HCDC anticipates announcing pairings before the LINC Kick-Off Dinner, which will take place Sept. 4 in Salon U of the Colvard Student Union's second-floor Bill R. Foster Ballroom.
