About this event

Mississippi State University's College of Education and Center for Distance Education are collaborating to host an education expo in Tupelo for potential students in the northeastern portion of the state. The free event features representatives from MSU’s education departments of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Foundations; Curriculum, Instruction and Special Education; Educational Leadership; Instructional Systems and Workforce Development; Kinesiology and Music. Center for Distance Education leaders will be on hand with information about university distance learning programs. Mississippi Professional Educators and Families First, among others, also will be represented. Focused on student recruitment, the expo is an effort to expand MSU program outreach for community college transfers and area non-traditional students interested in the university by providing information about undergraduate, online and graduate degree programs. Door prizes will be available, along with dog bone cookies for the first 150 participants. MSU’s Bully mascot will make an appearance.
