GRC Educational Webinar: 'Accessing Funding to Reduce Violence on Campus'

September 11, 2018
11:00 am to 1:00 pm

About this event

The Campus Program is one of the more sought after programs within the U.S. Department of Justice's Office on Violence Against Women. Its primary purpose is to develop and strengthen victim services and security on campus in situations involving domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking. Much attention has been given to campus violence since the last time OVW program officers were represented during a conference for the Grants Resource Center, of which Mississippi State University is a member. MSU's Office of Sponsored Projects - Proposal Services is hosting a webinar featuring OVW representatives who will highlight new priorities and give tips on how applicants can be competitive in future competitions. The live session will stream in the Office of Sponsored Projects Conference Room (Room 131G) in Etheredge Hall. A digital recording of the webinar will be available after the live session. Those who would like to attend the live streaming session or request a copy of the digital recording should email Lauren Clark at lclark@osp.msstate.edu.
