Mississippi State University and Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity officials and volunteers are participating in a brief ceremony to break ground at the site of the 10th annual Maroon Edition Habitat for Humanity home. Program speakers include MSU President Mark E. Keenum; MSU Vice President for Student Affairs Regina Hyatt; Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity President Charles War, and Executive Director Joel Downey. President Keenum will give a welcome and drive the first nail, officially kicking off construction of the new home, which is being built for Habitat partner Quan Lucious and her two children.
