Safe Zone Educational Training

Mississippi State University's Safe Zone Advisory Board encourages students, faculty and staff members who have not previously attended to register for one of two Safe Zone Educational Training sessions taking place in the Foster Ballroom on the Colvard Student Union's second floor. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about Safe Zone, a campus-wide program that promotes a welcoming and safe community for LGBTQ+ students, faculty and staff. Challenges that face the LGBTQ+ community and support resources available at the university are among topics of discussion. Participants who go through a series of subsequent trainings will receive a Safe Zone sticker to display in their office. Click the link below to RSVP by Sept. 21.
