About this event
Mississippi State's Maroon Volunteer Center is sponsoring a service opportunity in Bellefontaine during the university's Fall Break. Volunteers are needed to help pick sweet potatoes that will be donated to local food pantries throughout Oktibbeha County and Mississippi. Transportation, breakfast, a T-shirt and lunch will be provided. Students who need transportation should meet in front of Moseley Hall at 7:15 a.m. to ride a bus to and from the service site. Volunteers will return to MSU at around 12:30 p.m., when lunch will be served. Click the link below for more information and to RSVP. Email questions or concerns to volunteer@saffairs.msstate.edu.
