The Big Event 2019

Sponsored by the Maroon Volunteer Center and the Student Association, The Big Event is a one-day service opportunity for members of the Mississippi State University and local communities to roll up their sleeves and give back. Individual volunteers and groups must register prior to the event. There is no cost to register or participate. Participants will receive a free T-shirt. Volunteer leaders and individual volunteers must check in and collect their T-shirt, meal ticket and volunteer instructions on Friday [the 29th] from noon-6:30 p.m. at Barnes and Noble at MSU's patio. MSU students, faculty and staff members should bring their MSU I.D. card to registration. Those who are not affiliated with MSU are asked to bring a form of photo I.D. On Saturday at 8 a.m., volunteer groups will head out to their assigned community service locations. Click the link below for more information and to access the registration form.
