Mississippi State's African American Studies program, in collaboration with MSU-based Mississippi Quarterly: The Journal of Southern Cultures, is sponsoring a roundtable discussion in celebration of Black History Month. During the event, contributors to "A Literary History of Mississippi" (University Press of Mississippi, 2017) will discuss African-American writers' contributions to Mississippi's rich literary history.
