About this event

Celebrating their 49th year together, Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell have taken America (both their band and their distinctively American folkrock sound) to the world, and now, they are bringing their talents to the MSU Riley Center. In 1972, the No. 1 hit "A Horse with No Name" made them overnight stars (along with the other founding member, the late Dan Peek). "I Need You," "Ventura Highway," "Don't Cross the River," "Tin Man," "Lonely People" and "Sister Golden Hair" gave them a prominent place in the soundtrack of the 70s. They continue to perform regularly, as well as write and record. And they still sound great and have fun. That's what America is all about. Tickets are $64 and $58 at the MSU Riley Center Box Office, which is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets can be purchased online at www.msurileycenter.com or by phone at 601-696-2200. Click the link below for more information.
