About this event
Mississippi State's Student Counseling Services, in collaboration with the university's Black Student Association, is providing an open environment where students can talk freely with experienced, understanding counselors. All students are welcome, but the event is intended for African-American women seeking a positive, supportive environment in which they can examine their experiences and develop skills to enhance personal well-being. Yvett Roby, assistant director and victim advocate coordinator for MSU Student Counseling Services, will serve as facilitator.

The Mississippi State University Student Counseling Services are available to support any students who need assistance. The center is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., for walk-in appointments, and counselors are on call 24 hours a day. Services can be accessed by calling 662-325-2091.
