About this event
Mississippi State and City of Starkville officials are holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Idea Shop, a new makerspace and retail front in downtown Starkville that includes the Turner A. Wingo Maker Studio and the MSU Retail Product Accelerator. The 2,000-square-foot area was made possible by private support, as well as the USDA Rural Business Development program. It is part of the MSU Center for Entrepreneurship and Outreach and operated by the College of Business and School of Human Sciences. Thursday’s grand opening will include remarks from MSU President Mark E. Keenum, Starkville Mayor Lynn Spruill, MSU College of Business Dean Sharon Oswald and Center for Entrepreneurship and Outreach Director Eric Hill. Click the link below for more information.
