NCAA Tournament First Round: MSU Women's Basketball vs. Southern University

ESPNW Coach of the Year Vic Schaefer and his SEC Champion Mississippi State Bulldogs have earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament! Fans of all ages are invited to join the Bulldogs at Humphrey Coliseum as they take on the No. 16-seed Southern University Jaguars in the tournament's first round. MSU's clear bag (HailState.com/clearbag) and metal detector screening policies (HailState.com/metaldetector) will be in effect. Hail State Rewards members (HailState.com/rewards) can receive up to 175 points for attendance, and Bully's Kids Club members (www.BullysKidsClub.com) can receive up to 150 points. Humphrey Coliseum also will serve as host to Friday's first-round matchup between No. 8-seed South Dakota and No. 9-seed Clemson. Both games will be televised on ESPN2, and the winners will meet on Sunday with a tipoff time to be announced following the conclusion of all games on Friday. All-session reserved tickets for the first and second rounds are sold out. If any tickets from team allotments are returned, they will be available online only (HailState.com/tickets) starting at 8 a.m. Sunday.
